  • Role & Responsibilities:


    Requirements:-

    1. Drafting, reviewing and understanding negotiations of agreement(s), contract(s), and document(s) based on the requirements from business /other internal team on case-to-case basis and providing legal inputs by advising  stakeholders about various legal risks and actionable that may be required

    2. Initiation of legal proceedings against the delinquent customer(s) by analyzing various legal tools. Having end to end understanding on recovery actions viz., Issuance of Demand notices, Section 138  (or) Section 25 proceedings under The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and The Payment and Settlements Systems Act, 2007 respectively and SARFESI Proceedings on need basis.

    3. Engaging and coordinating with the legal counsel and internal stakeholders for handling the litigation including any filings thereunder till its disposal and further actions. Maintenance of tracker for all the Litigations by and against the Company for periodic submission to various stakeholders.

    4. Reviewing and providing inputs on Credit documentation viz., Term sheets, Facility Documents etc.,  for the facilities availed by the Company from various Banks and Financial institutions.

    5. Reviewing and responding to Legal and statutory notices served on the Company by collecting requisite information and inputs from the stakeholders.

    6. Reviewing of various applicable policies and procedures from legal perspective by providing inputs to the stakeholders

    Requirements:

    The Designated Professional should have a Bachelor/Master of Law degree from a recognized university and will have at least 7-12 years’ experience preferably from appropriate in-house Legal function having an experience in a NBFC/Bank.
