Role & Responsibilities:

Responsibility:-

1. Scrutinizing Legal Scrutiny Report, Title Search Report and Vetting report for cases initiated and Vetting of Original Property Papers. Provide the legal opinion on Mortgage property across States in coordination with empanelled Advocates.

2. Resolving the queries raised by Sales/Credit/Business/Operations team. Preparing Internal Legal Scrutiny reports and initiating individual cases to empanelled Advocate for Scrutiny.

3. Liasoning with enforcement authorities and draft an appropriate response to the statutory notices served on the Company in coordination with H.O.

4. Engaging and coordinating with the legal counsel and internal stakeholders for handling the litigation including any filings thereunder till its disposal and further actions. Maintenance of tracker for all the Litigations by and against the Company for periodic submission to various stakeholders.

5. Initiating legal proceedings against the delinquent customer.

6. Advising on the execution and the payment of applicable stamp duty on the agreement, etc. based primarily on the duties prevailing in the respective States and on legal data base agencies, State government official websites, etc.

7. Handling customers’ grievances / notices to resolve the dispute and ensuring proper replies within time frame.

8. To impart training to team members and cross-function people on policy and property related matters.

9. Empanelment of Lawyer/Advocate/Firm at every branch of CFL on requirement basis

10. Conducting of Training to various stakeholders on execution of documents from time to time.

Requirements:

• The Designated Professional should have Bachelor/Master of Law degree from recognized university and will have at least 5-10 years’ experience preferably from appropriate in-house Legal function having an experience in a NBFC/Bank.
• Experience in handling Mortgage Loans and analyzing the issues in detail, ability to communicate in a lucid manner having good drafting skills.
